OK, sounds good Doug about passing on the boat. I don't have any plans for a 14, sorry. Not sure if you have checked out Don Hill's site. They sell plans and instructional video for about $95. http://www.dhdriftboats.com/driftBoatPlans.html
Hi Doug, $2500 would be for the boat only. I am researching the cost of new trailers here and depending on what I find, I could probably go around $3000 for boat and trailer. The boat is a highside, so the sides are 3 inches taller than a standard because I used it on class III+ rivers. It does have a brand new 20 OZ biaxle weave cloth/epoxy bottom on it finished with a layer of Coat It, which is a carbon fiber epoxy that is hard and slick. The outside has a fresh coat of spar varnish and if you want the boat, I will refinish the interior as well. It does not come with oars. But I do have three handles and blades for Sawyer MXG composite oars that you are welcome to. You would just need to order 9' shafts from Sawyer. There is no anchor system. I could meet south east of Salt Lake somewhere with the boat. Thanks.....Kurt
Well, when I read your profile I somehow thought you lived in Vernon Utah, which is just south of Salt Lake, so a fairly easy drive from here. Thanks for the heads up that you actually live in Arizona. Sorry about that Doug. It would be a little too far at this point for me to take the boat. Thanks for your interest and reply.
I read your post on the Tatman plans forum. I have a 17X52 tatman drift boat that I built about 2004. It has very little use and in great shape. I can't remember if it is Sapele or Okume marine ply. But it is a very nice looking boat and I can send you pictures. Or just look on my page here and there are pictures of the boat on the Owyhee. I am building a boat from scratch right now and would sell the tatman if you are interested. I would like to get around $2500 for it. I live in Hailey Id and will deliver to you. Thanks, Kurt
