- Carpenter/Small Craft Naval Architect. I studied yacht design at the Yacht Design Institute and at The University of British Columbia. While working at Marco Marine in Seattle I took some workshops at the Northwest School of Boat building from Bob Prothero. I just retired and I want to build a drift boat for the Middle fork of the Salmon.
