Ooops... sorry - I can't help much with oil... I used epoxy and marine spar varnish on mine. There are a couple of guys on here that are oil experts Dave Z is one... Jason in Michigan just completed his boat and he used oil on the interior of it. Looks great !!

Welcome Peter... glad to have another Husky join the group - would love to see a picture of your Don Hill... are you going to the Wooden Boat Show in Port Townsend next weekend?? Very cool event.
