Hello, I am a fly shop owner in Milford Ohio just steps from the Little Miami River. Here we fish for Smallmouth, Large Mouth, Kentucky Spots, White Bass, Hybrid Striper, Sauger, Saugeye, Carp and Gar. I also have to trout streams with in an hours drive, The Brookeville Tail Waters, and the Mad River. I have recently aqquired a Don Hill wooden boat. I am in the process of stripping it and refinishing it. I am new to the art of wooden boats and care and maintinance of these boats. The boat is circa 1974 according to the last owner, other than that I dont much about it. Its in good shape all things considered and already starting to look good with just some sanding. I hope to become a part of this forum and as I am new to this, learn some valueable information on how to finish the boat and what I might add to it to make more fishable. I been guiding out of pontoon and really look forward to getting this boat on the water. Our local waters get pretty skinny so I want to do what I can to protect the boat. Please check out the web site to learn more about this fishery. Thanks all. Steve
