- I am currently building a 17 foot wood drift boat with my twin brother. I am using my high school's wood shop, since I am only seventeen. This boat will be my first build, and my first drift boat to own. The plans are from Mike Baker's website, and the materials have come from all over. I just want to get it on the water to fish.
