- I'm the grandniece of the late Hal (full name Hally) and Bea Witherwox, who ran the Black Bar Lodge on the Rogue River for many years. I'm doing research on the early period of their time at the Lodge, the people with whom they interacted and some events connected with them. I've got mememtoes and photos to share. I don't have a boat. I do have some of Uncle Hal's tied flies. My father spent his youthful summers at the Lodge.
