Boatman experience commenced in the 1950s and moved to professional guide level 1971, Pacific Northwest. Built small wooden craft with father and built first river dory in 1968. Experienced coast guard rescue swimmer and environmental / fisheries degree. Designed, drafted and implemented comprehensive river fisheries management programs focusing on wild fish stock preservation. Presently co-owner of Outdoor Ventures, River Education Syllabus, registered and licensed in Oregon and Washington. Presently engaged in private and professional guide training on a year around basis. Collateral occupation, Technical Performance Auditor, Environmental Sciences and Community.

Hope you can join us on the Festival & Float on the 25th... should be fun. We're going to have 15 or 20 wooden boats on the water for a little one hour float before the Festival... let me know if you can make it.
