Earlier this year I was asked to illustrate the latest poster for the upcoming wooden boat show. Randy let me do what ever I wanted for the design, I chose to paint a wooden boat (duh) from the inside or looking down into the boat. that is what I find myself looking at when I am just standing looking at my boat, I love how these boats are put together, and that inspired me to do this poster, I used a photo of my boat and one Randy sent me for the reference to paint from. Hope you wooden boat folks like it.

Will the poster be available for purchase?

Glad you all like the poster, and my boat... there are some beautiful wooden boats out there, one day I will have to build one myself. Fixing one up was fun but building one... that would be great.
thanks again.

Nice work, Dan. Thanks for bringing your considerable talents to the Wooden Boat People... it's awesome. Can't wait to frame it and hang it in my office. Hey - you have a great looking boat!! You should bring that over to the Boat Festival in April... it would look stunning on the McKenzie out behind Eagle Rock Lodge.

Wow! That is a really nice poster... Excellent work Dan.
Whether we make it out for the show this year or not - I will definitely be wanting a print of this poster for my workshop (to go with my print from last year of course).
Let me know when they become available.
Thank You for sharing your talent with us.

Thanks for doing to poster and for sharing it with everyone here. I love it.
It's time to spread the word on next year's show. I'll get to work.
