Driftboat trailer

Finishing a 16 footer with 52" wide bottom. Thinking of buying a 5X8 Utility trailer (Northern Tool) and modifying. Anybody do this and if so any tips or pics? I am in Lancaster, PA and driftboat trailer are seen here about as often as we see a wild panda.

I lucked into a 100 dollar roller trailer. Never did go the utility trailer route.  Sorry.  My suggestion go to every boat dealer with your dimensions and look for the old trailers they have sitting around. Offer anything......they want to get rid of them.

Stephen - Did you ever pursue the utility trailer idea?  Specifically looking for roller ideas?  Thanks, Bob
