Grand Banks Dorys

Hey, I am working on a boat in the 7th hour class, and I think we are almost to the point where we will be making oars soon. How long should the oars be?

I will be in this Monday to answer questions like this.  I will bring several oars to try at that time.  We will also bring several different lengths when we launch the boats in the pond.  Rowing different lenths is the very best way to determine proper length.
