Lat week I was able to get the rest of this infernal green paint sanded off. The best thing that I found were Gator Black Zirconium Sanding disks.  They lasted way longer that than the other 2 or 3 brands I tried.

After flipping her over and hosing her our it was determined that the transom had to go.  The previous owner had not sealed it properly and had all sorts of nails and crap in it.  Sometimes the best thing to do is start fresh.  Also made it a lot easier to wash the mud out.
