I just got back from my first Rogue Wild and Scenic trip! What a blast! We had three very seasoned Rogue rafters (Scott, Marv and Dave), Greg Hatten, and Randy and Sandy Dersham rowing the wood. Randy took "Tubby" the pram, which looked like it handled the white water very well (I'm sure he can share more details). The river was running around 1200cfs during our trip.
After Randy and Sandy took the left route on Slim Pickens, there was a lot of talk amongst our group on the better route?
I am curious of other drift boaters or rafters choices on slim pickens? Left or right?
The Rogue is such a special place! We caught half-pounders on flies, ate like kings, got wet, stayed as warm as we could, and enjoyed the sun when it was available.
