Grabbed a couple of hours to work on the frames today.  The plans are for a 14' Canadian, from Spira International.  As others have observed, the plans come a little light on details, but all of the necessary information is there to calculate everything that's needed.  A quick search for an online trig calculator, and I was off to the races!

After the math was all done, there was the old question of how to cut the tapers.  I don't have a taper jig for the table saw, though I'm sure I could whip one up quick enough.  But the best bet seemed to be to do the cuts quick on the band saw, leaving the line, and then dress the edges with a plane.

I think it was probably faster than the table saw work would have been, and I got to make a whole pile of lovely shavings.  The epoxy arrived yesterday, so the frames will get glued up, probably Sunday afternoon.
