The 11th edition of The Colorado Wooden Boat Float will take place the weekend of September 10th-12th on the banks of the Upper Colorado River at Rancho Del Rio Campground.  Show up Friday to set up camp, see other boats and possibly get in an afternoon float.  Then Saturday we do the main float followed by "Floatoberfest " celebration with beer from Woods Boss Brewery and Bonfire Brewery as well as soda from Tommyknocker while we grill sausages from Charcutnuvo.  After Happy Hour we do awards ceremony and raffle with prizes from our sponsors including: Sawyer Oars, Polar Bear Coolers, Downriver Equipment and many others.  Sunday we do a late morning float for those who want to get in one more day on the river.  

We hope to see some new faces and boats at this years event which last year saw 7 whitewater dories and 5 drift boats on the float. 

We will have prizes for best fish pictures of the day from the fisherman on the float.

   Farthest Traveled

   Best Built Dory

   Best Built Drift Boat

   Most Distinct Drifter or Dory (for the unique boat on the float)

   The Boat of The Float  (most talked about boat: maybe design, maybe run that day)
