Smallmouth were caught but we had a scuffle with a low head dam.  Patched it up with some epoxy and duct tape to make it back to the takeout.  I live in the Southeast so I know drying times can very with the humidity.  The puncture is small, 9mm socket for size in the picture for scale.  I’m leaning towards 10 days in the garage and pulling it out into the sun during the day to get it dried back out.  Plan for repair is after the drying out process is to sand and feather in around the area top and bottom and then some thickened epoxy with some milled fibers and colloidal silica added before adding a layer of 10oz fiberglass to the bottom and 6oz glass on the top.  I guess my biggest concern is how to adjust the drying time to be absolutely certain I have given it enough time to dry.  Also a big thanks for all of the advice on what to carry in my boat box for on the water repairs I got from past post.  That would have been a long 2 mile hike to the take out.
