It's history now but I think worth sharing. There are 12 Tall Ships visiting the Great Lakes this Summer. They were in Bay City, MI this past week.
I had the pleasure of attending, I, along with several other wooden boat owners displayed their boats. There was several restored blue ribbon wooden boats including a 1941 Chris Craft, a 1936 Eddy (built in Bay City), a 1952 AristoCraft and a 1957 Yellow Jacket.
Here's a link to the web site that shows all the tall ships. and a couple of my Pictures. Not all of mine came out well, I apologize for that.

Here is my Stripper and Drift Boat at the Tall Ships Festival.
The ships (12 in all) were lined up along the Saginaw River in downtown BC. There were two taking people on cruises on Saginaw Bay in Lk. Huron.
Monday I was fishing on the Bay and saw four of the ships leaving for the next port of Duluth, MN on Lk. Superior. Was neat to see them out in open water too.
