Saturday, May 25 in Jackson Hole.

Our hard working fleet of boats will be on display as well as boats from around the Intermountain West.

The "Trapper", a boat built for Prince Helfrich by Woodie Hindmann in the 40's will also be on display. Roger Fletcher captured the lines of this boat for his book, Drift Boats and River Dories. This boat is on summer vacation here in Wyoming. Ditch and the team will restore it for Dave Helfrich and return it to Oregon next spring.

Let me know if you are planning to attend. Camping is available at our Riverside Tipi Camp.

See you there.

The weather gods seem to be smiling on us this year. So far no snow in the forecast for Saturday.
The river is running a friendly 10,000 cfs which should allow us to row into the pond at camp.
Still might be prudent to pack a raincoat and long johns.

Cheers,

AJ
Have fun out there, won't be able to make it this year. Last minute river trip came up and I'm headed to the Selway. Really bummed because I has excited to see the trapper, as well as the Steele boat that Dutch brought home last year and a few other folks boats that are always at the show. I'm mid build and was looking forward to all the great ideas you always get checking out other people's boats. We'll probably see ya on the river soon. Looks like maybe a quick runoff this season if these temps hold
Enjoy the Selway. See you on the river.

On the way...need anything from Oregon?

The weather forecast for Boat Show Saturday is mostly sunny with a high of 64 degrees. Wow, we haven't seen that kind of weather report for a while now. We are having an early spring here in the Hole and Tipi Camp is wearing her finest green dress. The river is running at 8,600 cfs which makes for a fun trip through the many side channels. This years boat parade promises to be one of the best in recent years.

Boats are heading to Jackson Hole from all points as I write this. Look forward to seeing old friends and several new friends tomorrow. Drive safe.

Cheers,

AJ

Hi AJ, my drift boat needs a epoxy fiberglass bottom, do you by chance know anyone that would do that repair in the Jackson hole area for me? thanks Eric Wolfer.

Yes, give me a call.

One of AJ's boats.  And one of my favorites.

The old "Trapper".

Awesome big-water boats.

The show favorite!
