Bow Eye

I sure have enjoyed y'alls new site. I'm building a s&g , but I can't stay off this site because the woodies are so good looking. I've noticed from the pics many of the boats are sporting a double bow eye. What advantages do they offer, and where do you get them?

On my boat the bottom eye is for winching the boat up on the trailer when the trailer isn't all the way in the water. Once the boat is on the trailer I then switch the winch strap to the top eye and put the safety chain on the bottom eye.
