Does Anyone Know Who These Chuckle Heads Are?

I was going through boxes of photos and ran across this one. Was wondering if anyone knew about the boat as well as the folks in the boat? I assume the boat is Martin Litton's second "Diablo Canyon" built by Don Hill? By the looks of the background, they are in a city park, lake or someones swimming pool...

How excellent that the Diablo found someone who is compatable with her geometry. Although it had a very bad rap among the Hurricane boatmen, Martin loved it, so you are in good company.
1972 does not ring true, however. It showed up brand new in the warehouse in the early to mid 1980s, and had a brand new green plastic floor screwed on over the wood floor. I don't think that technology was around in the 70s.
