not to try and cut your business or advertising budget or anything... but for dirtbags like me, a cheap diy roller can be made with some 3/4" pipe and 1 1/4" pvc over the top. stole the idea from my roomates raft trailer and it has worked like a charm all season...cost me $12 at ace =)
Drift boat trailers are the missing link. It is nice to know that you provide a quality product since - the trailer is not a part of the purchase price of a kit or even a built boat. We all have to get the boat that we build or purchase to the rivers - and it is nice to know that there are options. Baker trailers have been a standard over the years that I have been around the wood drift boat building scene. It is nice to know that you provide a good product as well. Good luck to you. Nice trailers. Very reasonable price - considering that if you try and build your own, it would cost close to that much in materials alone...thanks
Chris,
Thanks for the kind remarks and you are absolutely correct. Building your own trailer is, as always, an option of course; and there are many out there that are very well built: both, home and commercial. However, there are many that are not and eventually need to be repaired or replaced and in many cases the repair costs can far exceed the replacement cost of a new trailer. Over the 30 years I've been in the welding & fabrication business I have built, re-built, and repaired many trailers and have always tried to provided the best quality possible. Hopefully, I have designed my drift boat trailer to last for many, many years and at a price that is reasonable. Thanks again,
D Liden (www.driftboattrailers.com)
