Dennis,
I was very interested in your experience with UHMW on your boat in your reply to Peter Harris. I have a 17.5' Tatman I constructed in 1986. The UHMW issue you described is exactly what is happening to me. Several questions pop up - When you remove the UHMW, how do you deal with the screwholes? With what did you use to fill them? Also I've never worked with fiberglass and Gel-Cote before, where would I find a guide or instructions to change over to that type of bottom?
Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jerry Sweat
