Stephen,  Very nice work and congratualtions on making it this far with your project.  I've been studying the photos that you've posted on this site.  I am going to use the center-runner along the bottom of the frames, like on your design.  Thanks for sharing the work you've done.  Guy

Looks lovely.  Very clean work you have done.

Stephen:  Very nice piece of work-paricularly the meticulous work on the stem fitting in the inwales, spacers and outwales. Thats craftsmanship!  On your next boat try it with a curved stem.

Good Luck

Very nice!

Very nice new boat! You are pretty close now, very nice work. Best wishes on the rest of Your build;then many happy years on the rivers. Jay

Very nice - gives me hope that I will be able to finish mine..

Congrats!  She's a looker.

Thanks to all for the encouraging words. I have never built a boat before and I spent alot of time wondering if I was doing something wrong. I picked through the forum comments each time I had a question and found all of your comments a huge help. I haven't finshed this one and I am already thinking of the next one. I guess that is pretty common with the company on here.  Now I need a fish in the boat.

Sweet.  I just found these pics after asking on one of your old posts if you had any new ones.  You are a couple of days ahead of me.  I have one of Dave Z's boats in the works.

I live minutes from the Susquehanna in Columbia so I will be doing a bunch of day trips this summer. Probably a Juniata trip this summer and maybe sneak in a Delaware trip in early June. Pine throughout May.....I want to start at the top of the canyon and overnight in the canyon. Ansonia to Blackwell. I grew up on all this water so it will be fun to do it in style and not crammed in a canoe. Good luck with your build. I am sure we will recognize each other if we see each other on the water....

Keep in touch.  My folks live in Wrightsville so I am down there often.  Spent alot of time kayaking up on the waves by the railroad bridge (you probably know where I mean) up river from marietta, down river from Locust Grove - where the Codorus dumps in.  Fished quite a bit between 30 and 462 bridges.  Would love to get together and do a float once I have the boat ready.  I live south of state college so the Juniata is out the back door.  Have done a few trips in canoe from Lewistown down to Arch Rock and a few floats over by Mt. Union and Huntingdon.  I would like to float the trout section of the J from Tyrone down through the gorge.  let's keep in touch.
