That is a great looking boat. Nice job
I re-lofted the boat based on Flecther's book, adding in the curved stem.  The stem itself is Alaskan yellow cedar laminated over a form.  It runs back to the first floor frame and is tied into it.  The cap is steam bent blk locust as are the chine caps.  The gunwhale is purple heart.  Thanks for the positive comments.
Beautiful lines, love the curved stem.  Where did you get the bow eye?

I made it all by myself.  It was pretty easy.   let me know if you want to know how.

Yes I would be interested in knowing how you built it.  Looks like 1/2" aluminum but how is it all attached?

5/8 aluminum, cut using a chop saw or band saw.  I drilled a 1" hole and a 3/4" hole. Then holding it on edge I drilled two holes as deep as I could,  about 1" and taped them with a 1/4 x20 thread.  Attach to boat with allthread.  I had to shape the boat side of mine because of the curved stem.  I beded it in dolfinite.

Very Nice! You did a beautiful job. Feels good to get out in a boat you built, doesn't it?. Congratulations.

Michael
