Any one know of a trailer for sale in NE. Having quite a time finding one that will work. Best option so far is to pay a grand for a new one and then retrofit. Which isn't my prefered option. Can't find the long back roller on the web. If I could find the roller retro fitting a used one would be easier. Been looking for a used one but surprisingly there are few out there that aren't junk.
Speaking of rollers, I built a trailer by basically totally cutting apart a regular roller trailer and rebuilding it in the complete image of a drift boat trailer. Lots of work but it turned out nice. Now if only I can finish my boat in the next month or so. My question is....I noticed on some of the guide boats that their roller is just galvinized pipe with no soft protection on on them. I built my roller the same way. Do I need something soft for the boat to roll up on? Rubber, carpet, PVC. Let me know.
