Transom question

Roger Fletcher's drawings for the 16' double-ender with transom calls for the transom to be 3/4" plywood. Is there any reason it would not be acceptable to laminate 3 layers of 1/4" plywood using epoxy?

Perfectly acceptable. 1/2" + 1/4" would work also>

No problem at all- this is the way Jason Cajune makes his curved transoms
