Hey guys,

Almost done... modified Z's Drifter Pram for slow water motoring.

The transom cutout can be replaced when drifting without power.

Jason is a meticulous builder and artist. I'm happy to see it built in such a manner. It is a versatile little boat and I hope he sees alot of use out of it.   If you haven't seen Jason's first build of a Tatman kit boat, its really something.

I'm gonna steal his transom gusset design on my next build!!!

Thanks guys!
I need a longer tiller handle with a u-joint and a fin/prop guard.
It pushed pretty good, but if I can shift my weight forward a little it will be much better.
For running back to the top of runs and motoring the frog water this looks promising.

What's next Mike... Now I just need to get fishing! :-)

JK,

Next is the Fish Porn, eh.  I'm Jealous.

Jason...I didn't pay attention to where you live...I just moved to Chicago from NYC (but originally from Oregon) and the Muskegon is where I'm targeting my first fishing trip of the season.  Any guidance on camping and fishing spots would be greatly appreciated.  Maybe I'll see you on the river...I'll toss you a beer from the shore as my boat may not be ready by then.

Hey Mike,
Have you been out fishing yet?
The Muskegon can be tough to wade depending on water levels. I have only fished it from Driftboats, not to mention its a jetsled racetrack on the weekends...
That being said it does produce good numbers of fish. I would consider fishing some smaller tribs on your trip as well. Message me and I will be happy to share the little I know :-)

The boat pushed pretty well last trip, but I have added a cage with a fin to help keep the nose down. I took her out for a test run this morning.

With a tiller extension and the fin the boat will get out of the water... I am not going to use the word "plane" but it is close. It's as fast as I would want to go in this little boat, and am quite pleased with the performance.

She rows like a champ too...
