I didn't recall Pat II, so I checked the FLBM website.  The PatII, at 39 feet, is an impressive launch.  It will grand when she is floating again.  One topic on interest was an early inboard/outboard setup.  I thought my 58 Volvo Penta I/O may have been an early one, but the museum showed me I was wrong by two decades.

I would have liked to land some of the trout from when the trout boats had their heyday!

Nice to see some folks who frequent this forum have been to visit the Finger Lakes Boating Museum in Hammondsport New York. Did you see the Pat II? That is the 40-ft launch that museum volunteers have been working on over the last 5 years. We missed getting her out for excursions this summer but will be ready with her next spring on Keuka and several other of the Finger Lakes.

These are distinctive boat designs.  I last saw them when the boating museum was sharing space at the Curtiss Wright Museum.  Glad to see them again.
