Kevin I love the color of your boat.  it looks really good.  I wondered what brand of paint you used the color name?  I wouldn't mind using it on my current build.

This was my first attempt at boat building in 2006-7.It was modeled after Buzz Holstrum's second boat ,the "Silver Steak" from 1935.While reading Brad Dimmock's book The Doing of the Thing" and seeing a pic of his boat on page 61 I decided I wanted to attempt building this boat.No plans,no kit just went for it,designing and sizing it from a disc of 25 pics that Brad sent me from buzz's '35 journey down the Rogue. It serves well as a moderate whitewater boat as well as for flatwater use.14'10" on the sheer with a 4' bottom, made with meranti ply, glassed and painted sides ,hemlock frames, cedar decks and seats, birch chines and rails and completely oiled interior.
