Thanks Rick, no finish on the aluminum (they have not seen the light of day in a year and a half) I will wax them before the boat goes in the water. The interior finished is a spayed Bristal 2 part and the motor is a 1952 Evinrude fleetwin 7.2 hp that I hope to re-work sometime soon.
Nice work! Not the dust, but the woodwork and finish. Is the aluminum bracket for the jam cleat polished? If so how do you keep it bright and shiny? Clear coat?
How old is the outboard motor in the picture? Resembles a 1928 Johnson that my step-dad gave me.
By the way what is the finish on the interior and how do you apply it? Looks like it was sprayed because of the uniformity.
