eheheh, you were one lucky man.
Left is the fastest way to get into trouble. I've seen a raft of drunk people roll into Whitehorse and never touch a rock, and I've seen a drift boat not pull right after the start and wrap on C-rock. It all depends on the water level.

Hello Robb, the one and only time I floated the Deschutes we did so without a guide book and limited knowledge of the river. When we got to Whitehorse rapids we didn't scout and I asked by buddy which way? Left or right? He responded I don't know and I chose left. We made it fine. It's cool to see it from the air!
