Hey Jay, yeah the temperature at the moment this pic was snapped was circa 24 degrees F. That's why it's good to be the oarsman! As long as you are on the sticks, you stay pretty warm. To get to where we are in that pic I row about a 3-mile lake crossing and then a little ways downstream, which warms a person right up!

Hey Rick, it's going well. There really is no off season for boating this section of the river unless it freezes up, which it does about half the time in Winter, but if it does it generally doesn't go solid until January, usually not before. Due to the mild winter thus far, looks like it might be game on all Winter, but hard to predict...
Fishing gets slowish, and kinda streaky with some hot periods between some fishless periods, but fish tend to be large, averaging right at or close to 20" with the occasional silver and steelhead thrown into the mix. I netted 2 steelies last Sunday. High jumpers!
