Hi Bryan.....Great to hear from you and very glad you got so many good years out of the old Tatman! Awesome you found a new boat for a reasonable price! Probably money well spent instead of trying to fix the old one. Would love to see a couple pictures of the new boat if you have a chance to post.

I think the anchor system like in the picture you sent is fine, definitely would need an anchor bang plate on the outside of transom like in the picture.
