About Me:
Recovering digital designer interested in building a floating sphere. I'm basing my designs on escape pods from oil rigs, thinking through CNC routing for plywood skeleton and cedar strips for the outside.

I'm a big fan of advice from others, especially since this is a unique project and I have lots of gaps in my knowledge. I know my way around a wood shop, but know next to nothing about boats.
