Building a Atkins Boat Works Design, Utility Fishing V 16' Walter Piele. Prints are not showing how to tie in the Chine to frames. Also should I build off a Strong Back fixture. I have lofted the T/off but not sure how to get her tunes to what the hey I am doing. Finally where to purchase a Counter Sink of proper degrees for Pherson #6's. A one shot style makes correct hole for shank and starter taper.

Hello D.L., I have never built anyatkins style boats, but watching Guy Fredrickson and Phil Dorfman build with strongbacks I think that there are some advantages. Have you visited WoodenBoat Forum? www.woodenboatforum.com the folks there build more of the traditional style boats.

Woodcraft, www.woodcraft.com is a source I use for wodworking tools. I pay reasonable prices, get great service and everything I have purchased has worked fine. Check them out for a countersink. The one I purchased from them works very well.
