Re-finishing a boat is personal thing. As far as finishes go, you do whatever you want. There are positives and negatives about every fishing, but it doesn't necessarily make them wrong. It is whatever YOU want. As for the rest of the restoration/repair, some things have to be done, some should be done, and others you may want done. That is more of a function of time. I probably have 300 hrs or more into mine. You need to decide how much time you want to spend on a boat and what you want out of it. I would be more than happy to give you some free advice, you can decide if it is worth what you paid for it... :-)
