My name is Jay Froman. I live in Central CA (please don't hold that against me!!) I am currently building a model of the Candlefish 16 so I can design the interior as I want it. I found your name in the Devlin booklet and have a couple of questions on your build and subsequent use. Can you maybe reach out to me at jay.froman@gmail.com? I'd appreciate it. Thanks
Thanks for bringing "Out West" to the wooden boat festival! It was great to able to see your craftsmanship in person. Sorry I missed being able to talk with you. We just wern't in the same circle of friends at the same time.
Last year was my first time at the McKinzie River show. I saw nothing like the craftmanship of your boat. I built a 17.5 high side in 1986 and am glad I found this wooden boat forum. I need to replace the UHMW "mistake" I put on the bottom. These folks are very helpful with advise, and I get to view photo's of some beautiful boats like yours. Thanks for sharing!

The McKenzie River wooden boat festival. See link below. Your boat would steal the show!

Very impressive theme and craftmanship. Any chance we'll see you and "Out West" at the wooden boat festival in April?
