"Thanks Bennett, I'll get in the garage for the lay up and crank the garage heater.  Should help with the varnish too, which is probably just as important.  I hope to crank out the prep layers and and 3 coats before I have to leave…"

"Hell worst case just throw a couple space heaters in the shop and keep it in the 80s. My boat in a warehouse in the Georgia summer would kick off slow Raka in no time. It’d be hard as a rock in a few hours in 85-95 degree temps"

"Update:  Of course I was wrong.  This picture is of the chine batten and log at the rowers seat.  Again, chine is in tact, but is a little spongey.  I'll either drill and fill with high-viscous epoxy or cut out a section and…"

"Hadn't thought of that.  Thanks!  I have learned my lesson with too sharp of a scraper, having to epoxy a bit of the veneer sheet back on the ply.  Good thing I am going to paint when I am done.  (I want to lay thin glass on…"

"With that number of coats on the hull you might want to try a heat gun and a dull putty knife first and then finish off with stripper.  Have used this method pulling off epoxy coatings- but don't go nuts with the gun until you see…"
