Greetings, glad to have you aboard. In my opinion the best investment in discovering the path to take with a driftboat is to invest in Roger Fletcher's book, Drift Boats and River Dories, check it out at riverstouch.com . Do a search or read the past posts on this site. Many others have treaded the "What boat design do I need?" trail. There are lots of "signposts" and comments from this experienced and knowledgeable crowd.
