I am a 71 y/o flyfisherman from the SF Bay area. I built one of Greg's kits (great guy) a number of years ago. I used the meranti ply. Encapsulated it as he instructed with two coats of epoxy and 6 coats of varnish. I wasn't happy with the original foredeck (lines kept slipping down thru the open corners, so I built a deck which completely covers the bow. I also laminated an arched white oak thwart to support aft knee braces. The "furniture" and floorboards are spruce, making a nice contrast with the meranti. At Greg's suggestion, I covered the bottom and chine area when UHMW 1/4'' nylon sheeting. Bulletproof. The boat has been in my garage under a cover it's whole life. Three beautiful wood oars, a couple of anchors' and it's drift boat trailer with roller complete the package. I also have an available electric motor which can be clamped on the transom for repeating drifts. My friends and I fished this boat mostly on the Lower Sac and the Yuba. We made several trips to the Madison, Missouri, and Bighorn. My interests have shifted more to salmon and crabbing, so the drift boat is not getting much use. I would like $4000 for the boat and trailer. I also would like some help posting some pictures. Jim Pletcher
