Ryan, you are in luck. This is one of the most popular or should i say most common repairs done to wooden drift boats. Use the search function and look for AJ, Dutch, Kevin C or Greg Hatten. AJ and his crew from Jackson have done numerous repairs and done a wonderful job of documenting the means, methods and materials for such repairs.

Greg Hatten not only does a wonderful job of repairing his boat but he also has apparently taken on the task of testing the strength of boulders in the Rogue River. So far he has found that the plywood in his boat is not as strong as the boulders and rocks. This testing has also provided him with the option of testing out various repair methods. He has also documented these methods.

There are tons of answers buried within the previous posts on this site. From what coatings, to how to make oars and general discussions important to us all.
