The wood is on its way and its time to clean out the garage and organize the tools.

Besides nature's way of taking every possible extraneous doo-dad you own (and some you don't) and jamming them into every single unoccupied inch of space in the garage, there is one other fundamental truth (regarding garages) that I have come to realize. It can be expressed in equation form:

New Boat In = Old Boat Out

It is indeed a sad and poiniant truth. For "A.M. Radio" my faithful aluminum deep V 17' er, not to be neglected, will have to be relagated to the yard to make way for the new addition to the family. A proper boat cover topped off with a big blue tarpy should do the trick.

So goes everything else: out in the yard, up in the crawlspace, or into the garbage. It looks like a yardsale at the Greenleaf household.

All finished, the middle bay provides about 20' of length and 12' of width in which to build. The outside bays will be for the big tools (table, miter, and radial arm saws) and wood piling. Oh yea and canoes, kayacks, strollers, wagons, lawnmowers, roto-tillers, and everything else I didn't have the heart (or permission) to throw away.
