Well, here it is. My parents asked me when I thought this boat would be finished... I said never, but hopefully I will be taking it on the colorado, Loma to Potash. Putting on finishing details.

My oar blocks had to have a nother piece of wood put in the middle bacause the lock was hitting the side of the boat otherwise.

Built decking in foot wells. The front and back are removalbe by hidden draw latches under the floor boards. The deck in the rowers foot well is attached in the same way on the front but then it is hinged in the back. This provides a place to put empty beer cans!

Then came the drilling through the hull for the bailing system. Talk about nervous, but it went well.

Then the first coat of oil. Boiled linseed and turp is all im using. Painted inside the hatches an off white. It looks beautiful!

Stoked to take her out! Ill have some pics of us on the water soon. Cant wait. Thank you all again for all the help and great advise. Maybe one day I will be able to answer some questions and build boats as fast and good looking as daves :)

Pretty pretty. Looks like you knocked her dead. Nice job with the fishermans flooring. You'll like plywood in that area.. Less tangling with lines vs slatted decks. Also looks like your interior finish worked out well. Next time you might wanna try the mahogany colored sikaflex on those joints. It's a much darker color brown. Luckily you crushed it with the masking and the seams look real good. When is the maiden voyage? Are you gonna put gunnels on that rear portion and the transom? Looks like she's about ready to float.. Psyched for you.
