Dave's Pickup Pram- FREE PLANS!- REV2-FIXED

Guys,

There was a big error on the frames in version 1.  I got out the boat and the models and my drawings and cannot figure out why I drew the information I did!  regardless, it is fixed now and you should be good to go.  I built another manilla folder model just to verify...

Joe- I built it with chine logs, so it is screwed/nailed together. S&G should be no problem. Make plywood frames just like my model shows, nail up the transoms and fasten to the plywood frames.  trace out your bottom once the boat is squared up, and stitch away...

Thanks guys for your kind words and patience.  Enjoy.  I have used the boat for a little fishing this fall.  I'm pushing 200- and standing- while it can be done, be careful.  It's totally stable when sitting.  My daughter has no problem standing in it and fly casting.  She loves the boat.  I think it excels on the duck pond- sitting down with burlap over it is a really nice little rig.

If I were to do it again- and I'll challenge you guys to take the lead- make it wider- knock out some of the rocker and it will be much more stable.

John I did get it built and sadly I have had to move on to other more pressing projects! 

However the small poster board cutout is sitting on top of the computer so I see it everyday!
