Looking for a quick boat...

Greetings all!  I'm looking for a quick boat to build ahead of a camping trip this May.  I just need something simple, like a pram or row, that can hold 2 people of average size who like to fish and maybe carry a few pounds of gear.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Check out Dave Z's page. He had some free plans for a 10' or 12' pickup pram.

Hey Mike,

I do have an 8' or 10' lake pram but I don't have anything in plan form yet. I could get you some dimensions and angles if you already know how to build a boat.

That looks awesome!  But, I'm still very "green" on boat building, so I would be fairly lost with just dimensions and angles.  My goal is to find something simple to begin with so I can get a feel for building, then gradually get more complex.  So, maybe after my first or second boat I would be ready for some general dimensions instead of full blown plans.  Thanks for the help, once again.

Dave's pickup pram is 8' and easy to build for a first boat.
