Hi All,

First time on this fourm and wanted to introduce myself with a question. So There is this boat here in vancouver and I am pretty sure she is going to end up as mine... She is 36-38' long and has twin Chryslers in her. She has a interior sterring station and at first I thought that she was a Ed Monk Design (Correct me if I am wrong) But after some research I have decided that she is eather a Pacemaker or a Matthews.. Anyways So, I am going to take on a wooden boat project as I have owned many before and redo it. But I want this one to be at least 36-38 feet long becuase I want a part time liveaboard.

Best Regards,

Sam

Sam:  You have got yourself a real project!  Your best bet to get information on this boat will be " The Wooden Boat Forum"  this is run by the Wooden Boat Magazine.  There are lots of old salts that love to do restorations(as well as new ones) that are on this site.  I have no doubt you will get lots of information/advice from them.  The people on this site build smaller boats and sometimes have a blockplane in one hand and a flyrod in the other.

Good Luck

What a fantastic boat!!! Save her save her now!!! Post lots of pics please. She is pretty wow
