I'm tall, and like my legroom, so i'm not doing a passive system with false floor...solar powered bilge pump for me. I will have (mostly) passive bailing in the passenger footwell via scuppers holes drilled straight into the hull above the waterline. the last few inches of water will need to be bailed by hand...

have you checked Jamestown Distributors for fittings? should have a wide and variety...

big question will be where to put the false floor. needs to be above water line, which can be hard to tell without ever floating/loading the boat. I got my boat floating before I decided what kind of bailing system to use for that reason...and my boat takes more water than I expected. about 12" fully loaded....thats 12" i didn't want to give up in legroom...

Hey Joe,
My false floor is between 9-10 inches off the floor. I went with a direct drain tube from the well to the hull. I heard the one way valves get stuck. I used epoxy glue and glass tape to secure it. No drains for the passenger wells just bailing buckets:) There are some more picks on my blog. http://kellyneu.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the input! I just found a fitting and the hose to make it work. The detailed pictures on your site Kelly are very helpful and your boat is impressive. Mine is a little more on the "hyperoptic" side; ie, looks good from afar... Put in is March 25
