Hey Georgia Drifter... welcome to the site. Pretty cool to see a Tatman so far from the Willamette Valley. I restored the Cruiser in the garage and then built the drift boat. Cruiser is a 1983 - last year they were available in the U.S.... they only sent 300 over here that year and then discontinued.
Thanks for noticing!!
Glad you found the site. Welcome and enjoy.
Just Joined. About to start a drift boat. Been looking for someone from Ga who might know about the local (Ga. Tenn. N.C. ) rivers available/suitable for drift boats. Grew up in Fayette Co. but the Flint never occurred to me. I now live just West of Atlanta. Beautiful boat by the way. Neal
Hey Neal.

Let me know if you have specific questions and I'll do my best. Are you building from scratch or a kit?

I hang out on www.ngto.org as well as www.itinerantangler.com

Both message boards have info about southern tailwaters......Steve
From scratch. Have finally made enough room in my shop and have the frame lines laid out on a white sheet of plywood. Decided to try a prototype frame on scrap wood while I decide what kind of wood is available and best for frames. Ordering epoxy from Raka. Neal
Pretty, pretty boat and very nice photos. Being in Wisconsin, I thought I was a long way from the origins of these boats, but you are probably twice as far away from the Cascades as I am.
