Thanks to Randy and Debbie Dersham for again hosting this fantastic conclave.  They open the grounds at their lodge to all people, wooden boats, and dogs.  Weather was good, boats and comaradarie better yet.  Many lovely drift boats.  Better yet, in no particular order, Karl Mueller's work-in-progress bar tender, Allen's Grand Canyon wood dorrie, and the GEM, trailered all the way from Flagstaff, AZ.

Pics for us guys that couldn't make it please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yea, what Dave said. pics please!
I made it down in time to hop in A.J's 16' RR for the parade. It was a pretty flotilla. A.J. and i did more flapping than picture taking, but here are a few shots - such as they are.

-Dutch (rt) and Kevin (lft) on the oars of their restored McKenzies.
-Crusu on the oars with Sandy and Dutch's gal, Cat. Yes!!! Sandy made it to show and he was a great addition.
-The Trapper, built buy Jeff of Portland. Dave Z, he did a lovely job. The boat looked quite at home.
- Grey Elliott in his Swampscott dory with boat show host, Randy Dersham on the guest thwart.
- Tom Martin and his wife made it there with the GEM. A lovely job and a pretty boat.
- A few of the boat slipping down the left side.

OOOPS. Sorry for the size of the first three files. Will try to downsize the reamaining three later this evening and post them

Kathleen and I had a great time and I can't say enough good things about all the boats and boat people. We will definitely be back next year....I will post some of the pics I got.

As it was my first time down the McKenzie I was wondering if anyone out there got any "action" shots of the trapper?

Thanks again Roger for inspiring me into boatbuilding.
Here's a few more pics of the boat parade and show. Thanks to all who participated and those who participated "in spirit". Weather was good, boats were diverse and plentiful, burgers and beer were fantastic and the show was well attended. It was a blast.

Great show that would not be history or future....without Debbie & Randy! Many gracious thanks to all those that provided additional assistance. FUN, FUN and more FUN!
Randy, Debbie, Sandy:

Thanks for hosting. The boats were way cool and the grounds were as beautiful as ever.

Best Regards,

This was my first time to the event and I was blown away by all the variations of boat design, interior and accessories, I got to meet Roger Fletcher and got him to autograph my copy of his book. I am still in the preparation stages of my first boat so I took around a hundred pictures and got some good detailed shots of interiors. I burned a disk to send to Randy and will have it out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who was responsible for putting on such a great event! Randy, can you tell me what address to mail it to?
