I am in the process of building two stitch and glue Rapid Robert's (one for each son) and am looking for some ideas on interior layout.  I want to have adjustable seats but without the ribs of a framed boat I need to be creative.  I am thinking maybe some side "pods" for both storage and as a surface to mount seats.  I think I can use some of the ideas I see in the various boat pictures this site offers.

I would like to see some interior shots if anyone has anything neat they would like to share.

I am building the first one right side up so that I can do minor experiments with shape and am very pleased with the results so far. I finished glassing the inner chines last night and hope to have the boat flipped and start working the outer chines by the weekend.

Thanks in advance!

I used side pods in my little boat and it worked out well. I just suspended the adjustment tracks between the pods.

I like the idea of a S&G Rapid Robert so will be following your progress. My boat is tough to put on a truck rack so I would like to build something I could take along while towing a travel trailer. Thought the boat you are building my be just right. Keep the pictures coming. Jon
Thanks Jon. I like the side pod idea and it looks great in your boat. Nice work!
beautiful work and you have two lucky boys.

I love the RR lines and you won't be dissappointed in the S&G boat- you will have a tone of extra space in an otherwise great boat.

I believe Jason over at montana boat builders has some side pod/adjustable seat methods... check em out.
