Well, it has come time to sand the old boat's interior (first time in my 4 years of ownership). Really only the fore section, and the rower's area, needs to be sanded. Which is my question, should I leave the area that is still in good shape, or should I just sand the complete interior, and go from there. I realize it might be more of a personal choice/opinion, yet I am curious on what the common concensus is. Thank you!

High traffic areas like the front seaters floor board ( damn the guys who wear spikes and don't keep the rubber mat taught, just kidding) and the rowers floor platform get it a sanding and varnish at least once a year. The whole inside including all floor boards, every other at the most. Think beer, sun, sander and face mask. Helps the process.
any preference on a striping agent vs. just plain ole' sanding? Jason of Montana Boat Builders advised after striping, using an epoxy, and then a varnish.
